YOUTH EXPERT™ Anti-Acne Serum is a complement to the multi-active formula MESOACNE by DERMEDICS®, which offers a truly effective and intensive topical treatment of acne.
Active ingredient:
Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant: Fleischer's Willowherb.
Inhibition of hyperkeratosis*: nordihydroguaric acid.
Inhibition of reductase-5α **: oleanolic acid.
Hyperkeratosis is a thickening of the stratum corneum, which can cause clogging of the skin pores. It is often associated with a qualitative abnormality of keratin and is usually accompanied by an increase in the granular layer. Due to the fact that the stratum corneum varies greatly, the degree of hyperkeratosis must be evaluated.

** Reductase-5α (5-alpha reductase) is the enzyme that causes the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the sebaceous glands and hair follicles, the strongest androgen (male hormone) responsible for acne formation and sebum overproduction.

No parabens, denatured alcohol, dyes, allergens or perfumes.
