E-light technology for treating couperose involves radio wave and light radiation that acts precisely on each individual capillary or pigment. It is often referred to as laser treatment for couperose.

Couperose is a circulation disorder in the skin caused by a vascular skin condition. Externally, the condition manifests as vascular stars, a network of dilated capillaries around the wings of the nose, chin, and cheeks.

The removal of vascular stars occurs through the heating of the tissue with an E-light pulse and the coagulation of protein components within the vessel's lumen. As a result, the energy is transmitted to the vessel walls, causing the vessel to contract: the vessel walls 'stick together' and are eventually replaced by connective tissue, which dissipates over time.
