A product in the BCN Cocktails line that, thanks to three active ingredients, collagen, elastin and coenzyme Q10, makes the skin firmer, smoother and hydrated, resulting in a more youthful appearance. This product is designed to support the action of natural collagen and elastin, molecules that decrease with age. This effect is achieved through the use of synthetic collagen and elastin and, at the same time, coenzyme Q10, which reduces the loss of these molecules and therefore also fights skin aging.

Like other products in the BCN Cocktails line, it can be mixed with other ingredients in the BCN Classics line to tailor them to every skin type. Collagen is a protein that is part of the connective tissue of the dermis and its function is to give the skin plumpness and elasticity. Over the years, these fibers become more fragile and decrease in diameter, which leads to a loss of elasticity and firmness of the skin. That's why most cosmetics aim to regenerate this protein to improve the skin: fill lines and wrinkles and reduce scars or any other structural irregularities.

Elastin has a long amino acid chain that has many hydrophobic amino acid sequences separated by other sequences containing pairs of glycines and other small amino acids such as lysine. It is this chain of hydrophobic amino acids that gives it elasticity, as it allows it to combine into helical structures, and lysine is involved in the formation of helices, which are the points at which neighboring elastin molecules join together.

These two components, present in the product in hydrolyzed form, are able to replace the effects of natural collagen and elastin, which are gradually lost with age, and therefore they retain the elasticity characteristic of young skin.

Finally, coenzyme Q10, also known as ubiquinone, is known for its antioxidant properties and ability to inhibit cell damage caused by free radicals. Its continued use can repair the damage done to the skin by these harmful elements and reduce the breakdown of dermal collagen. As a result, the skin becomes stronger and more resistant to aging, while maintaining the same facial expression.

Active substances: elastin, collagen, Q10.
